Jo Swinson with 1st Bearsden Boys' Brigade in Parliament's Westminster HallIf you live in East Dunbartonshire and are visiting London, you can arrange a free parliamentary tour. As part of this tour you will be able to see both the House of Commons Chamber and the House of Lords Chamber, as well as Central Lobby, the Royal Gallery, Westminster Hall and other important areas in the Palace of Westminster. Visitors can also attend debates in both Houses, so let us know if you would like to go to a debate and Jo will try to secure tickets.

These tours are very popular, so it is best to book at least 2 months in advance in order to secure a place. To do so, email Jo at jo.swinson.mp@parliament.uk giving your name, address and phone number and stating how many people you would like tour tickets for, or ring her Parliamentary office on 0207 219 8088.

For more information on the dates and times available for tours, go to http://www.parliament.uk/visiting/.

Alternatively, visitors can pay for a tour by an official guide on Saturdays and during the Summer Opening. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster or by queuing on the day.

If you are a resident of the East Dunbartonshire constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.

    • If you agree, Jo Swinson, the Liberal Democrats, and their elected representatives may use the information you provide to contact you about issues you may find of interest. Some of the contacts may be automated. You can opt out of these contacts at any time by contacting us.
