Jo Swinson after she completed the 'Field fo Dreams' raceJo ran Deafblind Scotland's 'Field of Dreams' 10km race along the new Kirkintilloch Link Road this weekend.

More than 500 people took part in the three races, with 120 doing the 5km race, 300 running the 10km, and 100 taking part in a special 1km Fun Run for children ages 12 and under. Jo completed the 10km race in 55 minutes and 40 seconds.

Commenting, Jo said:

"I thoroughly enjoyed the race and it was a great opportunity to take in some of the views from the new Link Road.

"This was a brilliant community event with a fantastic turnout of more than 500 people, raising money for a really good cause. Well done to the organisers for doing such a great job, and I hope the race brought in plenty of cash for Deafblind Scotland to support the excellent work that they do."

If you are a resident of the East Dunbartonshire constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
