Swinson using Facebook to meet constituents

Jo Swinson MP is using Facebook to organise a meeting with local constituents in Bearsden.
Jo holds weekly surgeries where constituents are invited to meet with her to raise any questions or concerns they may have. However, by using Facebook to organise an informal meeting at a pub in Bearsden, Jo hopes to reach a generation of people who might not otherwise come along to meet their MP.
The meeting will take place from 2-4pm on Sunday 3rd May at The Inn on Station Road.
Commenting, Jo Swinson said:
"The meeting will be really informal, and I'd welcome anyone to come along, whether its to talk about any issue I might be able to help them with or just to have a chat and find out how I'm representing them in Parliament. I'm hoping that people who might not have thought about contacting their MP before will come along."
