Update: Jo Swinson in talks over support proposals for Flexible Ducting workforce

Jo Swinson held talks by phone today with Mitch Rogers, who sits on the Management Board of Flexible Ducting's US parent company, and its US Director of Operations Jay Schlageter. Commenting after the phone call, Jo said:

"I have stressed to bosses at Flexible Ducting's US parent company the need to do everything they can to support their Milngavie workforce at this time.

"Mr Rogers and Mr Schlageter gave me assurances over the steps they are taking to help employees through what will be a difficult next few months. One modest note of comfort is that the company being employed to help Flexible Ducting workers to find new jobs has a strong track record, having managed in similar situations to place 80% of employees in new jobs."
