A slice of chocolate heaven in Milngavie

August 13, 2008 5:06 PM

Jo Swinson with Marion Dougan and Vito Naio in CacaoJo was in chocolate heaven yesterday when she visited Milngavie choclatier Cacao. The small business opened a year ago, selling fine luxury chocolates.

Proprietor Marion Dougan, who won a Scottish Women in Business 2007 award from the Association of Scottish Businesswomen, plans to establish the web-based side of the business during the next stage of its development.

Jo said:

"The success of Cacao is clearly down to the hard work of Marion Dougan, as was recognised by the Association of Scottish Businesswomen last year. I am pleased to see Milngavie supporting small businesses like Cacao, which do much to add to the character of the town."

If you are a resident of the East Dunbartonshire constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
