Terrorist incident at Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Airport has reopened quickly after Saturday's incident thanks to the huge efforts of airport staff

Speaking after Saturday's terrorist attack at Glasgow Airport, Jo has given her view that such actions will not stop normal life resuming quickly. She commented:

"When terrorism strikes so close to home, we are served with a sobering reminder of the very real security threats we face.

"The emergency services and airport staff acted with great bravery and vigilance on Saturday. They have since done an amazing job of getting the airport up and running again so quickly.

"I am quite sure the people of East Dunbartonshire and Glasgow will not let this threat deter them from going about their daily business and returning to normality as soon as possible."
