East Dunbartonshire mourns death of Magnus Magnusson

Magnus Magnusson remains most famous for his work on Mastermind, including the iconic phrase, "I've started, so I'll finish."

Commenting on the news that Magnus Magnusson, an East Dunbartonshire resident, has passed away aged 77, Jo Swinson said:

"News of Magnus Magnusson's death is deeply saddening. It is a privilege to have had as one of my constituents such an eminent figure in the world of broadcasting, journalism and history.

"Though the show will go on, Mastermind will always be synonymous with Magnus Magnusson. For this and his other great contributions to his adopted homeland of Scotland, he will be both sadly missed and long remembered."
