Jo Swinson at the Macmillan Cancer Support 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'

'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning', held annually, is Macmillan's most popular fundraising event

Jo joined residents in the community room of Bishopbriggs library today to mark 'The World's Biggest Coffee Morning'.

Held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, the event was just one of hundreds of coffee mornings held around the country this morning.

Jo said:

"I was pleased to see a healthy turnout at the coffee morning, and thank those people who came and gave generously for Macmillan Cancer Relief. It is great to think of all the money raised for this worthy cause by the very many coffee mornings held around the country today."

Jo also thanked Bishopbriggs Library for their support and In The Mix cakes for providing free baking for the event.

If you are a resident of the East Dunbartonshire constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
